gb oil
Hi all, a driver based at Ellesmere Port had to have a new windscreen fitted to his wagon by a national windscreen company in January or Febuary this year on a GB oils acount.the driver had to sign his own name after the work was carried out, as most of us have done in the past. Well think again, the driver has just received a letter from a debt recovery company in his own name sent to his depot stating that the bill is still outstanding. The company is asking him to pay the sum of £230 or he faces legal action against him and it could affect his credit score in the future. This bill has most certanly been pressented to GB oils in the past, and no action has been taken untill it was brought to the drivers attention, he immediately informed the company and they paid the full amount. please can you all think twice about putting your own name to anythink, but John DO sounds the best thing to put.

I have bean told that this is not the first time this has happend. It has happend up in Scotland
ReplyDeleteYes it happend up in Scotland about two years ago.The driver got two letters from a debt collection agency before it got sorted out
ReplyDeletesmashing that?
ReplyDeleteSimple sign your name then put on behalf of GB Oils, plus how do they get your address just from your name?
ReplyDeletesame here, allways happening in my depot
ReplyDeleteThis will need to be addressed by the Company immediately. Debt recovery companies may put an entry on the Driver's credit History which could effect his ability to get credit.
ReplyDeletewe have just been taken over by gb, what do we need to look out for ? any advice ?
ReplyDeleteThe HR dept aren't helpful, and everything is done in a back handed fashion! I'd look for another job, before they start with the at risk rubbish
