DCC Buys Brogan Holdings

DCC PLC,the business support services group, said Monday it has agreed to acquire Brogan Holdings Ltd, a fuel distribution and fuel card business in Britain, for EUR47.2 million in cash.

FACTS:

Brogans, which is headquartered in Motherwell in Scotland, operates from 15 fuel distribution depots in Scotland and the north of England while its fuel card business also has an office in Canterbury in the south of England.

Brogans has a fleet of 87 road tankers and 279 employees.
Brogans have 15 fuel distribution depots.
Brogans sold 447 million liters of fuel in its financial year ended May. 31.

Brogans adjusted operating profit for the year ended May. 31, was EUR7.9 million on sales of EUR329 million.

Drivers will be paid off
Depots will close
Mangers and office staff will be paid off
More crap vehicles in to the fleet





So is this good news for the men of Brogans no i dont think so. Its not good news for any one! but the FAT CAT BOSSES AT THE TOP

    only one comment to make on here at the moment there was a comment made about the brogan fleet can i add the fleet you may find is practically vehicles from 06 plates up to 59 plate vehicles apart from the odd one or two older vehicles in the fleet so please look at what is on the road the next time THANKS
