After consultative ballot to the drivers of GB Oils who work under the banner of CPL,Carlton,Emo and Scottish Fuels to name just a few as there is over 44 brand names in the GB Oils Stables.
The result of the recent consultative ballot was that 95 % of members voted for industrial action. A legal ballot will now follow. This will be conducted by the Electoral Reform Services on behalf of Unite the Union.
And will be carried out within the next few weeks.
This is Really good news as GB Oils have singlehandedly Murdered Truely Good companies under their banner. We now at long last have 95% of the workforce totally in unison and ready and willing to fight for our rights. Lets all stand together and fight this "Bully".The bigger they are , the harder they fall.

ReplyDeleteI agree this is great news, but can i remind you it is not 95% of the workforce it is 95% of union members that voted. The point i am making is that in my area there are as many non union drivers as there are union drivers so this could get very messy. But bring it on!!!!
