This week in Scotland a driver and is supervisor have been suspended for alleged tachograph offences. We will keep a close eye on this one because if a driver gets suspended for allegedly following instructions from the office it has far and wide implications for all you drivers going about your day to day work.

The situation regarding the Driver and Router in Lairg has been resolved . The Driver has returned to work on 1/12/09 with no further action,and that is the same for the router,there is to be no action taken against them both.The two memders in Lairg had done nothing wrong.The driver was suspended for four week for absolutly nothing .

ReplyDeleteits a bit of a mess up here in the north driver has been found to have done nothing wrong but is still suspended !its about time the drivers realised we are the union and stick together because things are onlty going to get worse ! at some time we are going to have to grow balls and take them on !!
ReplyDeleteits a sad day the drivers in the lairg depot have to share a lorry day about each (other tankers as usual cant get the go ahead to be repaired)is this the drivers fault or just bad management that things got to this stage in the first place.its a poor reflection on a so called blue chip company.we are fast becoming the joke among the competitors with whom i thought we were a step above,but sadly no more
